Apostilled birth certificate of foreign spouse, spouse’s parents/grandparents/great grandparents should also be enclosed with the OCI applications along with other requisite documents.
For foreign spouses cases OCI cards shall be issued initially for 5 years only. Thereafter, renewal shall be subject to a fresh application and a personal interview with both husband and wife at the Embassy.
